This study explores the implementation of a problem-based learning (PBL) model in a probability theory course to enhance students' problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Conducted with 58 undergraduate students and two lecturers at Indonesian universities, the research evaluates the PBL model's quality and effectiveness through observations, questionnaires, and pretests/posttests. Results indicate that the model is practical and successfully improves the target skills, suggesting its viability as a solution for optimizing learning outcomes in the probability theory course.
