- 8. What are the language features of a procedural text? • Imperative verbs (bossy verbs). • Adjectives – only used to specify which noun, e.g. the large bowl. • Adverbs - used to explain how something is done, or when, or how. • Connectives of time: next, after that, finally.
- 9. EXAMPLE OF PROCEDURE TEXT How to make a Soup Steps: • Peel potato, garlic, cauliflower , carrot and meat ball with knife. Then, cut into pieces. • Grab a frying pan and cooking oil. Enter the garlic and saute until fragrant. • Take a pot and put enough water • Enter the potato, garlic, cauliflower , carrot and meat balls. Don’t forget give the pepper and salt. • Wait 5 until 7 minutes. • Finally, pour the soup into bowls, sprinkle with celery and eat while warm. Ingredients: 1 Cauliflower 2 Carrots 2 Cloves garlic 2 Potatoes 5 Meat ball Salt Cooking oil Pepper Celery Water Utensils: Pot Bowl Knife Frying pan
