This document discusses using ad-hoc personas to design data products for B2B web applications when little user data is available. It describes how ad-hoc personas can be generated through in-house knowledge rather than traditional user research and data. The document outlines a methodology for developing 8 prioritized personas for a B2B data product company through workshops involving collecting use cases, clustering related cases, finding patterns, and naming persona profiles.
