Emily came into the Project Adventure class dreading it due to negative past experiences with gym classes and peers in middle school. However, as she participated in icebreakers and challenges with her classmates, she started to feel more comfortable and build trust with others. A turning point was during a trust fall exercise where Emily volunteered to fall back and was caught, feeling truly trusted by her classmates for the first time. By the end of the class, Emily had grown much more confident in herself and felt accepted by her peers, citing the bonds formed with her classmates as a transformative experience.
