These applications have no customer support from provider, infrequent/no upgrades or updates and limited functionality. Typically applications that are great for the non-project manager who needs to keep track of multiple projects, team goals and timelines. Typically applications geared to the professional project manager that support more complex project management, complex business rules, such as cascading timeline dependencies and complex multi- level costings.
