 Click on letter of drug
 Scroll down through list, or use entry headings
Let’s use the
example of Fanapt
(Iloperidone
Tablets)-FDA
 Scroll down to view description, warning,
and other information
 Continue scrolling down, or go up to the numbered
tabs, which each indicate a page that has specific
topical information on the drug, like “Consumer
Overview Uses”
 Click on tab near top of page, or on sidebar
 In the box “Identify Your Pill or Medication”, enter
in imprint, color, shape
 Click “Search”
 Search results
 Click on drug name
for more
information
 Click on form of drug
 View information by clicking on tabs
 Click on first letter of supplement
 Scroll through alphabetical listing

 Enter information
 Click “Submit”
 Click on area of body; in this example, I select the arm
 Continue following prompts for specific area of arm
(I use the elbow here), and then click on symptoms to
view list of Possible Conditions
 Click any of the Possible Conditions listed to view
more information—in this example, I selected Burn
(heat or fire)
 Click on first letter of term, or use Search box to find a
definition
 Click on tab at top of page, and then click on first letter
of disease to access page with more information
 Click on “Slideshows” Tab to access a number of
slideshows with more information on various medical
topics
