1. ROSEMEDIL S. PARDILLO PSED 2:
CHOOSE AN APPROACH THAT FIT IN YOUR CLASS:
The best fit on understanding development was the theory of Erick Erickson. The emphasis
of his theory was the sense of identity. It states that the identity of a person may vary through the
social, emotional, and culture influences. This means that the experience of a person results to the
later development. As an example when a person experience a broken family. This experience will
lead to different behavior, thus, this behavior will continue that depends upon the persons
personality. It is how a person brings his/her personality. In teaching –learning process teacher in
this approach varies to the different behaviors of his/her pupil especially in preschool. He/she will
attain the needs of its behavior. For me by choosing this approach I rather to study the family
background of my pupil so that during our class I can deal and inject my strategy of what should I do
for them. The flow of my lesson will also captivate and made meaningful to their learning. That’s
what I have done to in my pupil to this approach I choose.
