Puppet show
- 1. Puppet Show Held on October 01, 2012 Puppetry is an old, traditional art, which is still active in almost every culture, used in many different contexts, for spiritual, cultural and educational teaching. As puppetry is primarily a visual art, it can communicate to people who are not literate or who do not understand spoken language and it has been used in this way for thousands of years. There are many different ways puppets can be used to assist children's learning, including: Developing communication skills, children can use their puppet to follow instructions, answer a puppets question, or talk to the puppet. The development of fine motor skills in a fun way by encouraging children to move their fingers to make the puppets move. Providing a visual aid which makes songs and stories more enjoyable for small children The promotion of imaginative skills by providing a material for acting out stories the demonstration of different situations and role play scenarios Teaching emotions - wooden spoon puppets with simply drawn faces are ideal for this. PRSP-ILO-EC-CACL-II project team organized a puppet show for awareness raising of child labour issue among community and for above mentioned advantage also. It was organized for NFE Centres Batch I on October 01, 2012. Puppet show started with the name of Almighty Allah and Naat. Arslan Ishaq (PO-Training) introduced Puppeteer Asghar Bahawalpuri. He talked with the participants and told about his history as he worked in various dramas. He said that puppets will talk to you and you all participants will talk to them. He then started puppet show. Puppets performance was started and message of PRSP-ILO- EC-CACL-II, project was delivered step by step in each performance. Following performances were being showed;

Donald Duck Spiderman Jin Baba Uncle Shaljam A Feature “Taleem Sub k liye” In each performance following project information and messages were delivered; PRSP-ILO-EC-CACL-II Project basic objective Various interventions under the project Targets achieved And important message, “Come on folks lets end the Child Labour” At the end vote of thank were being given by Muzaffar Iqbal Khattak (PM-CACL-II). He thanked Asghar Bahawalpuri and thanked all other guests to give their precious time in this awareness raising event.
