PyWPS is a Python-based implementation of the OGC Web Processing Service (WPS) standard that allows users to expose processes via WPS. It supports various geospatial libraries and tools like GRASS GIS, GDAL, and R. PyWPS acts as a thin wrapper between these processing backends and the WPS protocol. Users code custom processes that PyWPS makes available via WPS. It has been used in several projects and applications.
