C. Learning
Competencies/Objectives
Discuss the concept that nature is so rich for no two animals have the same shape, skin covering and color.
Cognitive: Tell the difference of the sizes of persons in a picture in order to show awareness of distance
Psychomotor: Draw a picture of person in different sizes in a composition to show distance
Affective: Give value on one’s ability and confidence in making an artwork showing distance
II.CONTENT DRAWING OF DIFFERENT SIZES OF PEOPLE

IV.PROCEDURES Teacher’s Activity Pupils Activity
A. Reviewing previous lesson or
presenting the new lesson
The teacher will ask: What are the elements of art? Describe each element.
Motivation:
 Show a picture with people of different sizes. Ask: What have you
observe in the picture?
Let the children notice the sizes of the persons in the drawing. (The teacher
may ask follow-up questions)
(line, shapes, form, color, texture, and
size)
B. Establishing a purpose for the
lesson
The teacher will show another picture with people of different sizes.
 Ask: Are the sizes of objects differ? How?
Say: In a drawing, the sizes of objects differ because of their distance from
the viewer. Objects look smaller when they are far and larger when they
nearer. This is how PERSPECTIVE is shown in a drawing.
C. Presenting examples/instances of
the new lesson
(Tuklasin)
The teacher will ask the following questions:
• What is perspective?
• What is it for?
D. Discussing new concepts and
practicing new skills #1
(SURIIN)
Perspective is a way of portraying three-dimensions in a flat, two-
dimensional surface. This is to create the appearance and spatial
relationships of objects, buildings relative to each other as determined by
their distance from the viewer.
E.Discussing new concepts and
practicing new skills #2
F.Developing mastery
(Leads to formative assessment)
(PAGYAMANIN)
Let the student do what is in the book
G. Finding practical/applications of
concepts and skills in daily living
(ISAGAWA)
H. Making generalizations and
abstractions about the lesson
(ISAISIP)
The teacher will ask:
 How will you show distance in your drawing?
The teacher will ask:
How will you show confidence in making an artwork?
In a drawing, objects that are near to the
viewer are bigger, while objects that are
far from the viewer are smaller.
I. Evaluating Learning Let the pupils do art Activity on page 128 of LM.
J. Additional activities for
application or remediation
