• All + plural countable: “all animals”
• All + uncountable: “all fruit”
 POSITION IN THE SENTENCE:
1. Before the noun:“all animals looked sad”
2. Noun + all + main verb: “the animals all
looked sad”
3. After “to be”: “the animals are all sad”
ALL
• All + noun = general
“all flowers are beautiful”
• All (of) the + noun = specific
“all (of) the flowers in this garden are beautiful”
• All of + object pronoun
“all of them are beautiful”
