THE BIG BANG Primary Nebula - initial one big mass Secondary Separation – galaxies formation

"Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together, before We clove them asunder?" [Al-Anbiya 21 : 30]

INITIAL GASEOUS MASS Celestial matter was in form of gaseous matter. The word ‘smoke’ is more appropriate for this description.

"He comprehended in His design the sky, and it had been (as) smoke”. [Hameem As-Sajda 41 : 11]

The sun, the moon, the galaxies all are moving ORBITS OF GALAXIES AND PLANETS

"It is He Who created the Night and the Day, and the sun and the moon: All float in an orbit." [Al-Anbiya 21: 33]

"By the heaven full of paths" [Az'Zariyat 51: 7]

INTERMEDIARY CREATION BETWEEN THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH Presence of bridges of matter in interstellar space This is called plasma, the forth state of matter (besides solid, liquid and gas)

Who created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them [Al-Furqan 25 : 59]

EXPANSION OF THE UNIVERSE In 1925, American astronomer, Edwin Hubble proved that all the galaxies are receding from one another. Stephen Hawking, in his book “A Brief History of Time” says, “The discovery that the universe is expanding was one of the great intellectual revolutions of 20th century.”

"With the power did We construct the heaven and verily, it is We Who create the vastness of space." [Az'Zariyat 51: 47]

WATER CYCLE In 1580, Bernard Palissy described the concept of ‘water cycle.’ Water evaporates from oceans, forms clouds which move inland and rise, condense and fall as rain.

“ It is Allah Who sends the Winds, and they raise the Clouds: then does He spread them in the sky as He wills, and break them into fragments, until you see raindrops come forth from their midst. ” [Ar'Room 30: 48]

RAIN SENT DOWN IN DUE MEASURE 1.6 million tons of water evaporates per second i.e. 513 trillion tons per year and the same amount falls annually.

And Who sends down water (rain) from the sky in due measure. [Az'Zukhruf 43 : 11]

MOUNTAINS ARE LIKE PEGS AND FIXED FIRMLY Radius of Earth is 3,750 mile and the crust, on which we live is very thin ranging from 1 to 30 miles which results in high possibility of shaking. Dr. Frank Press in his famous book ‘Earth’ writes: “Mountains play an important role in stabilizing the crust of the earth”.

“ Have We not made the earth as a wide bed and the mountains as pegs?” [An'Naba 78: 6-7]

“ And We have placed on the earth firm mountains lest it should shake with them.” [Al-Anbiya 21 : 31]

BARRIER BETWEEN SEAS A barrier divides the two seas as such that each sea has its own temperature, salinity and density. (Principles of Oceanography, Davis) The unseen barrier serves as transitional homogenizing area for two waters. Mediterranean and the Atlantic Ocean at Gibraltar.

“ He has let free the two seas meeting together: Between them is a Barrier which they do not transgress.” [Ar'Rahman 55 : 19-20]

FORBIDDING PARTITION BETWEEN SWEET AND SALT WATER The pycnocline zone serves as forbidding partition in estuaries where sweet and salt water meet. This pycnocline zone has a salinity different from both the sweet and salt water. (Oceanography, Grass, Introductory Oceanography, Thurman)

And it is He Who has let free the two seas, one palatable and sweet, and the other salt and bitter, and He has set a barrier and a complete partition between them [Al-Furqan 25 : 53]

EVERY LIVING THING MADE OF WATER Cytoplasm, the basic substance of the cell is made up of 80% of water. Most organism consist of 50% to 90% water. Every living entity requires water for existence.

"We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe? [Al-Anbiya 21 : 30]

PLANTS CREATED IN PAIRS, MALE AND FEMALE

And sent down water (rain) from the sky. With it We have produced diverse pairs of plants, each separate from others.” [Taha 20 : 53]

EVERY THING MADE IN PAIRS In electricity atoms consist of negative and positive charge i.e. electrons and protons .

“ And of everything We have created pairs.” [Az'Zariyat 51 : 49]

ANIMALS AND BIRDS LIVE IN COMMUNITIES Ants, honey bees etc. Organize, live and work together.

There is not a moving (living) creature on earth, nor a bird that flies with its two wings, but are communities like you. [Al-An'am 6 : 38]

THE FLIGHT OF BIRDS Perfect programming & balanced flight.

THE FLIGHT OF BIRDS For example, “Mutton-bird” in Pacific takes a 6 month journey of 15,000 miles in shape of figure 8 and comes back to the departure with a maximum delay of one week. (Power and Fragility by Prof. Hamburger)

"Do they not observe the birds above them, spreading their wings and folding them in? None can uphold them except (Allah) Most Gracious." [Al-Mulk 67 : 19]

THE BEE Von-Frisch received Nobel Prize in 1973 for research on behavior and communication of bees. The worker bee or the soldier bee is a female bee.

“ And your Lord taught the Bee to build its cells in hills, on trees, and in (men’s) habitations; then to eat of all the produce and find with skill the spacious paths of its Lord.” [An'Nahl 16 : 68-69]

BLOOD CIRCULATION AND PRODUCTION OF MILK After 600 years of revelation of Quran the concept of blood circulation was described by the Muslim scientist Ibn Nafees. After 1000 years of revelation of Quran William Harwey explained that chemical reactions occur in intestines, substances extracted from food pass into blood stream through a complex system, including the milk producing mammary glands.

“ Verily in cattle there is a lesson for you. We give you to drink of what is inside their bodies, coming from a conjunction between the contents of the intestine and the blood, a milk pure and pleasant for those who drink it.” [An'Nahl 16 : 66]

MAN CREATED FROM A LEECH-LIKE SUBSTANCE An embryo in the initial stage is similar to a leech-like substance. Prof. Keith Moore, was astonished by the statements of the Holy Quran.

Read! In the Name of your Lord, Who has created, Created man from Alaqa (a leech-like clot). [Al-Alaq 96 : 1-2]

SEX DETERMINATION Sex of a foetus is determined by nature of sperm and not by the ovum. If the sex chromosome in the sperm is ‘X’ the foetus is a female and if it is ‘Y’ then the foetus is a male.

“ And that He (Allâh) creates the pairs, male and female, from Nutfa (a seed) when lodged.” [An’Najm 53 : 45-46]

EMBRYONIC STAGES First the bones are made and then the flesh is clothed.

“ We made out of that little lump (foetus) bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh.” [Al-Muminun 23 : 14]

SENSE OF HEARING AND SIGHT The foetus can hear sounds after 24th week The sense of sight is developed by the 28th week.

We gave him (gifts of) hearing and sight. [Ad’Dahr 76 : 2]

FINGERPRINTS In 1880, the fingerprints became the scientific method of identification after research by Sir Francis.

Does man think that We shall not assemble his bones? Why not, We are Able to put together in perfect order the tips of his fingers. [Al-Qiyamah 75 : 3-4]

PAIN RECEPTORS PRESENT IN THE SKIN Recent discoveries prove that pain receptors are present in the skin.

Surely! Those who reject Our signs We shall burn them in Fire. As often as their skins are roasted through, We shall change them for fresh skins that they may taste the punishment. [An’Nisa 4 : 56]

And if you are in doubt concerning that which We have sent down (i.e. the Qur'ân) to Our slave (Muhammad Peace be upon him), then produce a Sûrah (chapter) of the like thereof and call your helpers besides Allâh, if you are truthful.

But if you do it not, and you can never do it, then fear the Fire whose fuel is men and stones (idols), prepared for the disbelievers. [Al-Baqara 2 : 23-24]

Creations in the heavens / planets [Ash-Shura 42 : 29] Seven earths like seven heavens [At-Talaq 65 : 12] Heavens & earth created for appointed term [Al-Ahqaf 46 :3] The creation will be repeated [Al-Anbiya 21 : 104]

SIGNS OF DAY OF JUDGEMENT Sun and Moon will be joined together [Al-Qiyamah 75 : 9] Sun will be over thrown, Stars will fall Mountains shall pass away & Seas will overflow. [At-takweer 81 : 1-3, 6] Sky will be cleft asunder [Al-Infitar 82 : 1]

“ Indeed! This (the Qur’aan) is the decisive Word and it is not something purposeless.” [At’taariq-86: 13, 14] IMPORTANCE OF THE OBLIGATIONS

The Holy Prophet (saw) said : “ Verily! Allah (swt) will glorify nations if they abide by the Book and disgrace them on account of avoiding it.” [Muslim] GLORY IN THIS WORLD

The Holy Prophet (saw) said : “ Qur’aan will be an argument in your favor or plead against you in hereafter.” [Muslim] SUCCESS IN THE HEREAFTER

And prophet (saw) will say complainingly: “ O my Lord ! my people ignored this Qur’aan thinking it is obsolete” [Al-Furqan 25 : 30] POINT TO PONDER

“ We will show them Our Signs in the universe, and in their ownselves, until it becomes manifest to them that this (the Qur'ân) is the truth.” [Hameem As-Sajda: 41 : 53] THE TRUTH
