Have I selected a range of different readability level texts for the pupils that will encounter them? Do the books chosen contain a variety of different styles of writing / genres? Do the books, pictures and photographs selected avoid stereotypical images? Are there a range of multi-ethnic and culturally diverse images in the materials selected? Have I chosen materials which allow RE to appeal to a range of different learning styles? (E.g. Are there picture books, big books, EAL texts, artefacts, photographs, CDs, CD ROMs, different level texts, visits / visitors etc?) Are there materials suitable to support independent learning for the pupils? Have I selected a range of multi-sensory resources which allow access to the subject for SEN, EAL pupils etc? Have I considered resources to help promote AT2 tasks as well as AT1?
