An American magazine surveyed 1,000 18-year-olds and found:
[1] Most American teenagers are not focused on money and careers, but rather want work-free weekends and leisure time to enjoy their earnings.
[2] Many feel that their parents, who both often work full-time, do not spend enough quality time with them, with television sometimes replacing parental involvement.
[3] This new generation wants to travel abroad more than their parents did at their age, to places considered more "exotic" and to learn about different cultures firsthand.
