Definition: Real Time Real time is the ability to click on a button from a client file in your brokerage management system or comparative rater for immediate access to carrier information on that client. The transaction may be a quote, billing inquiry, claim inquiry/loss runs, policy view, endorsements or a request for information. This approach provides a single workflow for servicing or quoting.”

- #2: So far today, we’ve learned from our carriers the level of take up of the Real Time workflows and transactions that exist today. Those who attended the commercial lines session heard that efficiencies, ease of doing business for us and our customers is critical in retaining our market share, so this is the time to ask people on this panel what they’re doing, how they did it, how did they overcome a barrier you’re experiencing, what do they do about different workflows…whatever is preventing you from making it real – this is your item to ask! The floor is yours to ask your questions. We are prepared with questions we think are important, but this is your session. Do you know what your BMS and carriers can do? Do you know where to get this information?
