Parvathy S Nair grew up in Kerala, India as the single child of a traditional Hindu family but was also influenced by her attendance at a Catholic convent school. She was taught the importance of both Hinduism and Christianity. She was most influenced by her mother, father, cousin brother, and now her own sons. While pursuing her education, she realized her passion for serving others after witnessing their hardships. Growing up in India gave her a deep appreciation and compassion for those living in poverty.
