Samantha worked for Patrick Wang at his news agency from June 2010 to December 2014, first full time during a gap year and then part time while at university. When she started, the only other full time employee was leaving in two weeks, so Samantha had to quickly take on responsibilities like managing staff and implementing new processes. She also managed merchandising tasks like ordering stock and finding new suppliers. Patrick says Samantha always performed her work to a high standard and was competent in handling any situations. He also says she was easy to get along with and reliable.
