Description:
EAS is the application developed in Pega by UHG for Auto-adjudicating the claims which were sent to manual
processing by the legacy systems. This solution will pull the claim from an external COMET queue. Once the claim
has been identified, EAS will pull additional data via external foundation calls to TOPS (Legacy system for
adjudicating Commercial Claims). Once EAS receives the claim the system will perform some initial edit checks to
ensure the claim has the necessary data to continue processing through EAS. If the claim does not meet the
required edit checks, it will be returned to the original platform for manual processing. Once the system believes
the claim is valid, EAS will determine the rule set to apply (slotting table) to the claim lines. EAS will determine if
the claim requires additional data, if so, the claim line is tagged and the necessary source system is queried.
Assuming the system has all the required data, EAS will take the decision on the claim Adjudication like MCR
Review, Pay, Deny, Pend, Close and manual. The system will take the Manual decisions, MCR review and will
return the claim to the original platform. The system will take the Pay, Pend, Close and Deny decisions and
continue processing through the calculation service to determine responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
• Involved in Requirements phase for gathering the requirements and understanding the business.
• Developed Harness, Sections, Portals, Declarative rules, Connect-SOAP, Connect-SQL, Activities,
Reports in application for various requirements.
• Worked on various enhancements for the existing modules.

Description:
It is Re-Architected Pega application of existing application called Prompt. It is a single source of truth for UHG-IT
program demand and associated attributes like available funding, approves spend, current estimation effort,
approved[change controls] etc. It also streamlines the project request process flow, reduces the turnaround time
for projects requests, increase the quality of requests, increase accessibility of project request information and
decrease the paper and email margin of manual errors. It provides the data synchronized with various other
applications like plan view, reporting, case wise, LDAP etc. Application also helps in providing business partners and
UHG-IT stakeholders with visibility and accessibility to the status of for UHG-IT program demand.
Technology: Pega PRPC V 6.1 SP2, Oracle 11g
Responsibilities:
• Involved in PRPC flow diagrams, interpretation of complex flow shapes for business scenarios.
• Worked on activities, activity step methods, when rules and decision rules.

Insurance . The application is used by underwriters to capture the customer’s data and quickly provide the
quote/estimate of premium to the customers/brokers. And even web portal is available for the getting quote and
new business. It uses Product Configuration Framework for providing better solutions to the business.
