This document provides the design of an earth retaining shoring structure (ERSS) for underground construction works at two sites, PSVM and CPI. It includes geotechnical analyses using PLAXIS, structural analyses of the sheet piles and walers using STAAD Pro, and instrumentation and monitoring plans. For PSVM with a 2.8m excavation, the 12m long KSPIIIA sheet pile was found to be sufficient. For CPI with a 3.8m excavation, structural analyses showed the walers and struts to be adequate to support the retaining structure. Monitoring of ground movements and structural performance will be carried out to verify design assumptions.
