Around the world
There are 7 continents.
The continents are large areas of land which are
divided into countries, and surrounded by oceans or
seas.There are 5 oceans and different seas on Earth:

There are different landforms in each continent:
Plains  flat areas
Valley is the area
between mountains,
often having a river
running along it.
Hills  a piece of land that rises
higher than everything
surrounding it.
Plateaus  are landforms that
have a flat top and are
elevated far above the
surrounding area.
Mountains: rocky areas of land that
come up high out of the Earth’s surface This is a
mountain
range:
Rows of
mountains
which are
close
together.

 The Andes:
It is the longest moutain
range in the world.
It is in South America.
 The Himalayas:
Is a mountain range located
in Asia.
The Mount Everest is there,
and it is the tallest
mountain in the world.
Rainwater and melted snow form rivers in mountains,
which travel down through valleys towards the sea.

It is in Egypt, in Africa.
It is the longest river in
the world.
 The Amazon river:
It is in South America.
It is the widest river in the world.
