This RingWill Turn Your Finger
Into a Gadget-Controlling Wand
Wearable Input Device that lets you control
anything. Gesture control, text transmission,
payment, and more!!!
Ring -shortcut every thing(logbar inc.)
How to use :
Ultra-Small Finger Gesture Recognition
Technology
 The Ring is a hardware device that resembles an
ordinary (if slightly chunky) ring, filled with
sensors and electronics to give it the ability to
control devices and render input. It can enable
gesture controls, as well as text input by drawing
letters in the air, gesture-based authorization for
finalizing payments, and transmit alerts from
connected devices via a built-in vibration motor
and onboard LED.
 Each Application, has its own unique gesture
mark, so when you want to use it, simply
perform the designated action.
 Utilizing Ring’s precise letter recognition software
(Ring Font), you can type letters anywhere, anytime.
Now you can use Twitter, Facebook, or other social
network features, send texts, and even change the
station on your TV, by performing a simple gesture.
Ring is also compatible with Google Glass and smart
watches, giving you greater control over how you use
it.
Improvement
of gesture
recognition
technology
 You can connect directly or using the Hub.
 There are many hub devices which allow to send and
receive a Wi-fi or infrared signal to other devices. These
can be used with Ring’s Hub Paring feature.
 Using GPS or iBeacon, you can quickly and conveniently make
payments at participating retail stores, restaurants, and even
person-to-person.
Direct Number Payment :
• Allows you to make payments directly, by tracing the number with
your finger.
Checkmark Payment :
• Quickly make payments by gesturing a checkmark.
 Three types of development methods are
available for developers.
 You can download Apps for RING at RING
STORE
To activate and use Ring, you need to have one of
following devices:
・iPhone / iPad / iPod Touch (iOS7 or higher version)
・Android (version 4.4 or higher version)
・Windows Phone
・Ring Hub

Ring has a rechargeable battery(Approximately 1000
Gestures Can be performed with a single charge)
 Since 2013, Logbar inc. has been working on the
development of Ring and engaging in all processes
such as software, hardware, and product designs,
along with its partners and members with hardware
experience, such as those who have worked in R&D for
small watch sensors, as well as those with experience
designing IC Card-based security systems. The hardest
part in Ring’s development process was the
programming algorithm for gesture recognition—most
of the time was spent devising how to develop the
software needed to recognize gestures on the Ring
device, while reducing power consumption and
improving efficiency.
 Finally by successful funding provided by kickstarter,
Logbar has launched The Ring on April 4th 2014.
WHO MAKES IT?
 Logbar Inc., a Tokyo-based startup
WHAT DOES IT DO?
 Interacts with Web-enabled devices and apps
via Bluetooth connection
IS IT ON THE MARKET?
 First models funded via Kickstarter was
exhibited at the SXSW Trade Show in Austin,
Texas from March 9 to 12th,2014! And has
been shipped to tech.market in July 2014.
WHY IT’S COOL?
 It’s a step toward working all our electronics
with just a wave of our hand
