- 3. Chapter 45... Risk of Help? Crispin and Bear continue to stay in Widow Daventry’s house. However, Bear leaves for the morning, making Crispin stay behind. Then Bear goes for his journey, when Crispin follows him secretly to save him from the one-eyed man.

- 5. Major Characters Crispin- As he appears in every chapter, he also plays a major role here. He tries to save Bear from getting in trouble by the one-eyed man. Bear- The second protagonist, leaves to a narrow alley, to the village that he MUST attend. However, Crispin realizes that it isn’t safe. The One-Eyed Man- Mysterious. He is the “starter” for this chapter, giving the readers a tense nervousness. Appears to be a man related with John Aycliffe.
