KEY PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN____________________________________________________________ Project Title #1: SIS (Simplified Interline Systems) o Client : IATA (International Aviation Transport Associations), Montreal, Canada o Duration: March 2011 to Till Date o Designation: Lead Software Test Engineer. o Description: SIS is web application design to settle all interline billings between airlines and associate members of IATA. This will reduce extensive use of paper; transportations and other expenses associated with current process
- 2. of interline billing and will also help to settle dues between airlines quicker. This Project is intended to save around 500 billion dollars of airline industry annually. Few of the features of application are: 1) Efficient User Management (Rights assignments) 2) Airlines can send data across associate IATA members or other airlines in electronic format (XML or Flat files). 3) Application will maintain billing record data for all the transactions. 4) Any transaction to or from within SIS application can be digitally signed based on airlines choice. 5) Application will process data for member airlines and will create various types (CSVs, PDFs and HTML etc.) of output files. 6) Application also has capabilities to generate various reports (Crystal reports). 7) Various methods supported by application for airlines to download files include, FTP Push, Web based download (HTTPS) or transfer through iiNet(Third party involved). o Responsibilities: Test lead for the different releases of application. Understanding the client requirements and functionality of the system and help project managers to prepare estimations. Support, co-ordination and responsibility of the testing activities which includes review of test cases and test conditions, walkthrough of test cases. The main aim of this project is to help the Meeting planners to plan the meeting at different Group of Hotels. Project Title #3: MOS (Mortgage Origination Systems) o Client: GE (Mexico) o Duration: March 2008 to Dec 2009. o Designation: Associate QA Engineer. o Description: This Project is called GE Mortgage Origination Systems. It is related to calculating the eligibility of a customer to willing to pursue mortgage loans. It is a part of LOS (Loan Origination System). As the project was from Mexico, it was designed in Spanish language. In this project we are generating Quotations for mortgage loan and from Proposal to Disbursement all activities are included in it. My role in this project was initially as a Trainee and then as an Associate Test Engineer. In this project I am working on both Manual and Automation testing activities o Responsibilities: Understanding the client requirements and functionality of the system and help project managers to prepare estimations and test plans. Support, co-ordination and responsibility of the testing activities. Frontend and Backend deployment. Test case preparation, execution, bug reporting, bug verification, Regression testing.
