This paper presents a riverbed simulator implementation for mobile ad-hoc networks utilizing multi-beam smart antennas (MBSAs) to enhance concurrency in transmissions. It addresses the challenges faced in routing and medium access control (MAC) protocols due to the unique characteristics of MBSAs and outlines the development of simulation models to evaluate their performance. The study advances the understanding of MBSA-based network performance through comparative analysis of routing scenarios using the riverbed modeler.
