The following pupils are appointed by the adviser as the Class Officers of Grade II – Dahlia for the
School Year 2011-2012. The officers are expected to execute their duties and responsibilities stated
below.

PRESIDENT: The appointed/elected president of the class should possess the following characteristics:
behave, smart, responsible, trustworthy and honest. He is expected to be a role model to his classmates.
He should also maintain silence in the class while the teacher is not around in the classroom. He should
also help in the maintenance of cleanliness in and out of the classroom.

VICE PRESIDENT: The appointed/ elected vice president of the class should also possess the
characteristics stated in the item for president. The vice-president is expected to take over all the duties
and responsibilities of the president if the president of the class is not around.

SECRETARY: The appointed/elected Secretary of the class should also have the characteristics stated in
the item for president. The Secretary is expected to assist the adviser whenever there is a meeting for
the class officers. He should take down whatever is agreed upon by the body. (With the supervision of
the adviser).

TREASURER: The appointed/elected treasurer should also possess the characteristics stated in the item
for president. Aside from that, the treasurer is expected to do the collection of any contribution given by
the class, whether in kind of financial support (agreed by the parents/the body). Furthermore, the
treasurer is also tasked to do the collection of quiz notebooks, notebooks, whenever the adviser wishes
to.
AUDITOR: The appointed/ elected auditor of the class should also possess the characteristics stated in
the item for president. The auditor is also expected in the auditing of the collection made by the
treasurer (specifically financial collection). The auditor is also tasked to present the audit that he/she
had made. (With the supervision of the adviser).

BUSINESS MANAGERS: The appointed/elected business managers should possess the characteristics
stated in the item for president. They are expected to help the adviser in organizing a simple income
generating project for the class.

PUBLIC INFORMATION OFFICER: The appointed/elected P.I.O. of the class should also possess the
characteristics stated in the item for president. Furthermore, the responsibility of the P.I.O. is to inform
the class of the rules and regulations inside the classroom.

SERGEANT AT ARMS: The appointed /elected Sgt. At Arms should also possess the characteristics
stated in the item for president. They are expected to do the following duties: help the president/vice
president in maintain silence in the classroom whenever the teacher is not around, should not let their
classmates roam around the campus when lesson is ongoing, should see to it that all their classmates
are already inside the classroom when the bell rings in the morning, break time and afternoon.

MUSE: The appointed/elected muse of the class should also possess the characteristics stated in the
item for president. Furthermore, she should also possess beauty. The muse is expected to represent the
class whenever there is an occasion in need of female representative.

ESCORT: The appointed/elected escort of the class should also possess the characteristics stated in the
item for handsomeness. The escort is expected to represent the class whenever there is an occasion in
need of male representative.

ADVISER: The adviser of the organization should assist and supervise the officers in doing their duties
and responsibilities in the classroom. She should also train the officers in executing their powers inside
the classroom.

PRESIDENT: The President of the HRPTA is expected to do the following duties and responsibilities:

    1.   Helps in achieving the goals and objectives of the school.
    2.   Assists the adviser in disseminating school policies and regulations to the parents.
    3.   Helps in finishing expected HRPTA project for the grading period.
    4.   Follow-ups the monthly brigada eskwela.
    5.   Helps in acquiring funds for the school/class.
    6.   Updates the production area of the grade two class.
    7.   Encourages parents to attend quarterly meetings and conferences held in the school.
    8.   Values the importance of education for the children.

VICE PRESIDENT: The vice president of the HRPTA is expected to take over the duties and responsibilities
of the president, when the president is not around. Moreover, the vice president is expected to help the
president in achieving the goals and objectives of the school.

SECRETARY: The secretary of the HRPTA is expected to do the following duties and responsibilities:

    1. Take down the minutes of the meeting.
    2. Provide a copy for the parents of the decision made by the body.
    3. Consolidate the attendance of the parents who attended the GPTA, HRPTA meetings and
       brigada eskwela made for the whole year.
    4. Assist the adviser in noting the pupils who brought posts and bamboo splits for the fencing.
TREASURER: The treasurer of the HRPTA is expected to do the following duties and responsibilities:

    1. Collect contributions from the parents. (If necessary)
    2. Consolidate the payments made by the pupils in all the activities they had joined inside the
       campus.(If there are collections made)
    3. Sign in the clearance of the pupils under the name of the adviser to note if the pupil had already
       settled the accounts.

AUDITOR: The auditor of the HRPTA is expected to do the following duties and responsibilities:

    1. Audit the collections and expenses made by the treasurer.
    2. Present a financial report for a particular expenses made.

BUSINESS MANAGERS: The business managers of the HRPTA is expected to do the following duties and
responsibilities:

    1. Help the adviser in organizing a simple income generating project for the school/class.
    2. Assist the adviser in selling the products harvested from the production area.
    3. Helps in preparing food if there is an occasion.

PUBLIC INFORMATION OFFICER: The P.I.O. of the HRPTA is expected to do the following duties and
responsibilities:

    1.   Inform the parents of the policies and regulations of the school.
    2.   Serve as the attendance checker during HRPTA meetings
    3.   Prepares the attendance sheet during HRPTA meetings.
    4.   Informs other parents by the issues tackled during the meeting.

SERGEANT AT ARMS: The Sgt. At Arms of the HRPTA is expected to do the following duties and
responsibilities:

1. Maintain discipline and silence during meetings.
2. Helps in the fencing during recognition and graduation programs.
3. Advocates the policies and guidelines of the GAD and VAWC.

ADVISER: The duties and responsibilities of the adviser of the HRPTA are the following:

    1.   Inform all the officers if there are GPTA meetings in the school.
    2.   Disseminate current policies and regulations to the officers.
    3.   Maintains monthly report on attendance of the parents on their brigade.
    4.   Organizes income generating project agreed by the body.

I.     PUPIL DEVELOPMENT
       A. Academic Performance
          1. Raise the quality and quantity of the targets by 3% at the end of the School Year
              (2011 – 2012) in all learning areas.
          2. Encourage Grade II – Dahlia pupils in activities related to pupils’ development
       B. Holding Power
          1. Encourage 100% daily attendance of the pupils.
          2. Maintain 0% drop-out during the school year.
          3. Work for the maximum utilization of the Supervised Study Periods for
              remedial/enrichment activities.
       C. Values Education
          1. Development of National Consciousness and Filipinism.
          2. Integrate and implement in all learning areas the teaching of desirable national
              values.
II.    TEACHER DEVELOPMENT
       1. Upgrade the professional status and teaching competencies of the teacher.
       2. Observe 100% regular attendance throughout the school year.
       3. Keep complete, accurate, neat and up-to-date reports/records of pupil progress and
          submit them before due dates.
       4. Work for the development of harmonious relationship with the supervisors, co-
          teachers, barangay officials, members of the PTA, parents and members of the barangay
          council.
III.   CURRICULUM AND INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS DEVELOPMENT
       1. Maximize the utilization of guides, manuals, textbooks and other manuals available as
          instructional materials.
2. Prepare complete, neat and up-to-date lesson plan with supporting materials for
         effective instruction.
      3. Prepare / Compile / Utilize test pools for effective evaluation of pupils per learning area
         every rating period.
      4. Construct a graphic representation of pupils’ progress periodically in subject taught.
IV.   PHYSICAL FACILITIES DEVELOPMENT
      1. Determine the number of existing classroom facilities.
      2. Work for the ceiling fan inside the room out of the voluntary contributions derived from
         the parents.
V.    SPECIAL PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS
      1. Work for the implementation of War on Waste (WOW).
      2. Work for the improvement of pupils’ nutritional status.
VI.   EVALUATION
      1. Administer one periodic test and 5 other written/performance tests every rating period.
      2. Conduct Achievement Test to the class at the end of the school year.
      3. Give awards and recognition to deserving pupils.

ADVISER: The duties and responsibilities of the adviser of the HRPTA are the following: 1. Inform all the officers if there are GPTA meetings in the school. 2. Disseminate current policies and regulations to the officers. 3. Maintains monthly report on attendance of the parents on their brigade. 4. Organizes income generating project agreed by the body.

CURRICULUM AND INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS DEVELOPMENT 1. Maximize the utilization of guides, manuals, textbooks and other manuals available as instructional materials.

Prepare / Compile / Utilize test pools for effective evaluation of pupils per learning area every rating period. 4. Construct a graphic representation of pupils’ progress periodically in subject taught. IV. PHYSICAL FACILITIES DEVELOPMENT 1. Determine the number of existing classroom facilities. 2. Work for the ceiling fan inside the room out of the voluntary contributions derived from the parents. V. SPECIAL PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS 1. Work for the implementation of War on Waste (WOW). 2. Work for the improvement of pupils’ nutritional status. VI. EVALUATION 1. Administer one periodic test and 5 other written/performance tests every rating period. 2.
