Resetting a D-Link router to its default settings will change all customized configurations back to the factory defaults. To perform a reset, one must unplug all wires except the power cord, locate the small reset switch usually marked on the back of the router, and press and hold a paper clip in the reset hole for 10 seconds. The router will then reboot in 30-60 seconds with all settings reset to default.
