This rubric outlines the criteria and scoring for an 11th grade oral presentation assignment. Students will present on the topic "My Kind of Thing" and be evaluated on their organization, content, and presentation. Areas of evaluation include selecting an appropriate piece of art, connecting ideas to the art, delivering accurate information on time, using clear speaking skills, and keeping the presentation within the assigned time limit of 40 seconds to 1 minute. Students who do not have access to a camera must submit a recorded presentation by the deadline to receive a grade. The maximum possible score is 54 points.

The speaker send a record of his/her work to dlazcano.andino@gmail.com) 6 The piece of art picture is selected in the previous classes. 2 There is a connection between the student’s ideas and the piece of art. 4 CONTENT It contains accurate information: Introduction, development and conclusion. 6 Positive, negative and neutral ideas are obviously expressed. 6 It is delivered on time. (Those students who doesn’t have a camara have to send the recording before the dead line to dlazcano.andino@gmail.com) 6 Speaker uses a clear, audible voice, good language skills and pronunciation, and his/her delivery is poised, controlled, and smooth. (Live Presentation or Recorded Video) 10 PRESENTATION Length of presentation is within the assigned time limits.(40¨seconds through 1 minute). 2 Use /Show a well-defined piece of art picture during the presentation. 4 Information was well communicated: The introduction is attention-getting and lays out the topic well.
