4 A Secret No Longer
The secret turned out to be that Sadako has found out that she
has to go into the hospital because she kept feeling dizzy and
fell down when she was racing. Sadako's family visited her
every afternoon. Pretty soon she found out she has the atom
bomb disease. Mr.Sasaki said that Sadako might stay in the
hospital for a few weeks. Sadako was sad and because she
would miss graduation and not be in the racing team.

5 The Golden Crane
Sadako thought she heard her mom making breakfast when
acutally it is the different sounds of the hospital. To make
matters worse, the nurse came in to give Sadako shots. Later
Sadako got a visit from her best friend. She placed a beautiful
Golden crane on Sadako`s bed.  "A crane lives a thousand
years. if you make a thousand paper cranes, the gods will
grant you a special wish."Later Sadako`s family
visited. Masahiro promised to hang each of her cranes.

#6 Kenji
In this chapter Sadako makes a friend that's named
Kenji.
Kenji has leukemia, even though he was not born when
the atom bomb happened. His mom gave him
the poison (leukemia). Sadako first met Kenji near a
maple tree in the courtyard. Sadako made Kenji two
cranes. One day Kenji did not show up in the
courtyard, Sadako heard rumbling of a bed being
pushed down a hallway. The nurse told Sadako that
Kenji had died, she turned away and started to cry.
The nurse told Sadako that they should talk. Sadako
stopped crying and folded two more cranes.

June rolls in and rain comes to stay as Sadakos mother
comes tip toeing into Sadako's room carrying Sadako's
favorite food!!! Such as egg rolls, pickled plums, chicken
and rice and for dessert, bean cakes!! No matter how hard
Sadako tried to eat, to please her mother, her gums were
swollen, and slowed her down from eating the food, even
the chewy, sweet bean cakes!! 'I am such a turtle!' She
scolded as she watched her mothers eyes shine, as she
might've cried a second ago. Just after, Masahiro paraded
into the room talking as if the school gossip was spilling
out of his mouth.

8 Last Days
Sadako folded over 500 paper cranes.  Dr. Numata was happy with her process and told Sadako she could go
back to her home for a visit. By the end of the week Sadako was sick and pale again and was sent back to the
hospital.  Sadako asked her parents "When I die, will you put my favourite bean cakes on the altar for my
spirit?" . The Sasaki family came to see Sadako and give her a present.  Inside the box was a silk kimono
with cherry blossoms on it. After everyone had left Sadako folded her six hundred and forty-forth crane and
it was the last one she ever folded.

as the mountain
-Sadako gets weaker every hour, because she is about to die
-tries to make a crane but can't because she is getting weak,
finger keeps slipping
-Sadako imagined her cranes becoming real and flying out
the window before she died.
-Sadako thought before she died that she will always be apart
of a warm, loving circle.
