Integration of SVS , 3DMM, E-CHARTS, OBT Terrain on PFD , INAV and HSI. Project : NGFMS Customer : Gulfstream, Emberar, Boeing, Dassault Modules Worked : Flight Deck Management (FDM), Reports Management(RPT), Printer Proxy management(PPX) Role : Developer Project Abstract: Flight Management System is real-time embedded avionics software developed to support automatic flight. FMS is DO-178B standardized level-B software. FMS architecture is organized into various layers and subsystems for performing functionalities like navigation, guidance and control interface for the pilot. I have worked upon User Interface layer of FMS on the modules given below. Modules Overview: Flight Deck Management (FDM) Flight Deck Management (FDM) is basically responsible for these operations: • Manages variations, it doesn’t pass the platform related information to the upper layers. • FDM detects and consumes Pilot actions, on control panels (or certain state changes) and performing any “actions” on the system as a result. • Provides functionality for relevant events and perform modification of the FMS Application Services Layer models. Events will take the form of pilot interventions as well as other cockpit interfaces • Process the signal from flight deck and pass down to lower layer to perform action for that signal.

Performing the Unit testing and review of peers work products. Software Integration Testing on actual hardware and simulator environment.
