SAP® Services and Support helps customers unlock new value with digital technologies
that drive intelligent enterprise transformations. To help simplify its services portfolio and
processes, SAP SE turned to enterprise architects from SAP MaxAttention™ services,
taking advantage of their extensive experience with diverse customers.
Now, SAP Services and Support has a reliable, scalable target architecture and transition
options for SAP’s services business based on business strategy, an outcomes-based
model, a business capability map, and robust IT architecture principles and priorities.
Working with SAP MaxAttention and using SAP Transformation Hub, SAP designed a
services delivery model based on a work-breakdown structure for customer scenarios. It
can now use the SAP S/4HANA® solution for enterprise portfolio and project management
as the core system of record for services delivery execution and finance capabilities. This
target architecture design provides a clear foundation for intelligent delivery of SAP
services offerings, enabling a standardized experience for customers.
