- 1. Script Firstly as a group we attempted to do some research into current Film Noir film movies and take some inspiration from them and allow us to produce a film noir opening sequence and a suitable script to go along with it. We also took some minor inspiration from the horror genre which would allow us to add mystery to our film as well as the aspects of film noir. Having looked at both genres we still did not have any original ideas as we did not want to copy a stereotypical film noir plot and use it as a springboard for our script. We finally came to the conclusion of our script after watching some neo-noir films and decided we wanted to pursue a neo-noir film allowing us to create a suitable script for this. Radio Presenter “Another murder investigation is under way following the discovery of a man's body in a house in Central London close to the Metropolitan Police Station. This has been the 4thbody found in a period of two weeks. The body is yet to be identified and Police are treating this death as suspicious.” “In other news Detective Kinsbrook has been suspended from work through a breach of this contract when the detective broke his leg last week in a ski accident. We are now going to get a statement from the detective’s colleague Detective Jones“.
