DAY LUCAS'S.HOUSE Over a black screen to add mystery LUCAS (VOICE OVER) we were so close, me and my father even though we rarely saw each other, his disappearance was so sudden. This doesn't seem right, he wouldn't have had any sort of long-term illness without telling me, he said the last place he was going was to the power plant just past the forest, if I leave now I might be able to get there before sunset. Lucas is a blonde-haired teenage boy with a typical short hair style of haircut with brown eyes EXT. DAY.FOREST Lucas is walking through the forest, we are behind him we see a figure running through and cracking tree branches with leading music following building suspense as Lucas looks back he doesn't see anything and continues on walking forward EXT. SUNSET.FOREST LUCAS Where is the power plant I've been walking for hours, it's almost dark I'm going to need to find some shelter soon. we see the horizon EXT. NIGHT.STRANGER'S HOUSE As Lucas is stumbling through the forest he is noticeably tired and spots an old house just ahead with all the lights on, Lucas hurries towards the house seeking shelter and knocks on the door

LUCAS H-hello s-sir I was just wondering if I could stay in your house for tonight, I am lost, and it is getting dark. OLD MAN Ehhh fine, you weren't followed though, were you? LUCAS No sir, I don't believe so FADE OUT INT. NIGHT.OLD MANS HOUSE the old mans house is run down and made out of wood, damp from the rain, a few lights on downstairs in the cabin it is a typical wooden cabin and some boards up on the second floor windows from teenagers throwing rocks at his house Lucas takes a few looks at the old man and could only describe his features as being witch-like, he had a pointy nose and was covered in warts The furniture inside the house was just as basic with a single chair facing the fireplace, a few tables and a red carpet that looked more like blood because of the stains LUCAS This is a very nice house sir, how long have you lived here? OLD MAN I don't have to answer any of your questions the room you'll be staying in is up the stairs and to the left. LUCAS Thank you, sir. Lucas walks up the stairs, creaking on every other step, to

Created using Celtx his temporary room, he looks at the disgusting walls coated with some kind of weird green paint, when he notices something that looks off on the right side of the hallway like something is watching him and the wallpaper is a different colour compared to the wallpaper on the left side he shrugged it off and went and found his "bed" it was a mess but he thought nothing of it and somehow managed to get to sleep. FADE OUT: INT. NIGHT.OLD MANS HOUSE (sound of spoons clashing nearby) Lucas suddenly jumps up from the noise that was radiating from outside his door, he decides that his best course of action will be to investigate the noise, he makes slow, quiet steps towards the door, as he reached for the rusty door knob, the door flung open revealing, his own home, he sees himself with his father Lucas's eyes widening with joy as he looked down upon his father, asleep, he trys to wake him up but he wouldn't wake, after he gave up a single tear rolling down his face he accepts defeat he decided to explore because the last thing he could remember was that he was in the old mans house so he went back through the door he came from to find it lead somewhere in the middle of the woods, curiously lucas stepped through the door and looked around again to find nothing but woods (playing tense background music that slowly gets louder) looking around he sees nothing but more trees and a subtle orange colour covering the ground, the sun reflecting off the ground into Lucas's eyes temporarily blinding him, the crunching sound of leaves under his feet makes this dream soo real. Lucas looking around once more for some kind of escape, he can't see one it was just all trees and leaves. suddenly from behind one of the trees a shadowy figure appears behind it, peeking out at Lucas just enough for him to lock eyes with it, the same instance it appears it leaves with a blood curling scream. Lucas had also suddenly awoke on his floor mat. lucas gets out of bed and walking down the stairs thanking the old man and walking towards the door.#
- 5. 4. Created using Celtx INT. DAY.OLD MANS HOUSE KITCHEN OLD MAN Leavin' so soon? LUCAS Yes sir, thank you for having me tonight OLD MAN Are you sure you don't want any food before you leave? LUCAS Ummm.... yea sure I could for some food thanks Lucas sat down in one of the two chairs ready to eat, creaking as he put pressure on it, the old man sets down a bowl of what looks to be cornflakes, Lucas grimaces at the taste of the cornflakes Lucas manages to force down the expired cereal LUCAS thank you again sir OLD MAN (large grin on his face)that's no problem my boy I'm glad you enjoyed it because it might be your last LUCAS what do you mean sir? OLD MAN I'm just very ... happy that you enjoyed your stay. Lucas hesitantly gathers the very little amount of things he has left and runs out the door clutching his stomach in pain EXT. DAY.FOREST Lucas walks through the forest still pondering on what the old man had gave him to eat, he was still clutching his stomach in pain but the pain was seeming to be going away LUCAS why did i have to trust that man he seemed so accommodating i cant believe

Created using Celtx that i actually fell for getting food from him, Father always told me never to trust strangers but he seemed like a lonely man with no motive other than to live by himself EXT. DAY.FOREST Lucas is on his way towards the power plant, seeing it closer and closer with every crunchy step through the orange coloured leaves and snap of a twig until Lucas finally makes it to a very sturdy, high chain link fence looking to be keeping everything out of the power plant EXT. DAY.OUTSIDE POWER PLANT Seeing the fence was enough for Lucas to give up and yet he still tried, after failing the fence he looked at himself into a puddle that was clouded with mud and realised that instead of having physical strength, he was smart pulled his note book out of his bag and started flipping through the pages and he started writing things into his book and then got to work in gathering things around, he also remebered of something his father told him about a box that was under ground full of supplies, lucas is glad that he paid attention in chemistry and got to work in making a paste that would easily burn a hole in the fence. MONTAGE OF LUCAS MAKING THE PASTE FROM THINGS AROUND HIM LUCAS Phew.... that was a lot of work but i got it done without anyone spotting me otherwise this entire thing would be for nothing the paste that Lucas had makes was a mixture of orange and brown but it didn't matter because as soon as Lucas had put the paste on the metal it worked almost instantly EXT. DAY.OUTSIDE POWER PLANT the power plant was very large almost 50 times the size of any human it stood over them and spewing out some sort of smoke from the top which could only be assumed as carbon dioxide with small cave like entrances that led underground so that people could go to work. Lucas enters the facility and is being cautious to no alert

FATHER (V.O) there are always 3-4 guards around the power plant so you dont have to worry about me not being safe at work FADE OUT INT. POWER PLANT we see a person sat in a chair with restraints on him and a bag over his head and just a single spotlight over him. The rest of the room is in darkness. MAN IN CHAIR Hello, who is there, where am I? MYSTERIOUS VOICE Ah good you are finally awake, WHAT WERE YOU DOING WITH ELEMENT 115 MAN IN CHAIR W-W-What, What is element 115?
