Script the mystery
- 1. EXT. IN LOCAL PARK/woods pathway/ – DAY We are going to have the girl walking through her local park on her phone, texting one of her friend. And after taking a walk in the park, she is passing through the woods because she is on her way to catch the bus. And as she is passing by the woods and is a tall figure back from the other side. However because the girl was on her phone she doesn’t see the man walking towards her, ad so they bump into each other, she says sorry, however she does look up as she is saying it. EXT. LOCAL CORNER SHOPS/ We have the girl buying things from her mum from the shop, however we also have the male heading towards the shops. They don’t see each other yet, the man is walking into the shop as the girl is looking for the things she is getting. It is only till they both go up to pay that the man remember her face, but doesn’t say anything. As they are walking the shops, the girl bumps into the man, however doesn’t really pay attention to what’s happening, because she is on her phone again, the man is looking at her waiting for apology, however he doesn’t get one, all she does is raises her hand to signify that she is sorry. EXT. ALLEYWAY – DAY This is the first time we see both the man and girl walking by the alleyway, but this time the girl is with a friend, they are heading to the park, they get midway through the alleyway, and on the other side of the alleyway, there we have the man heading towards them, however this time the man don’t see the girls, this time it seems like the man is in a rush to get somewhere, and he is always breathing very heavy. And as he is rushing down the alleyway he cuts in between the two girls, Alex’s friend, starts looking him up and down, angry at what just happened, but Alex recognises his figure, she now realising it’s the same man that she keep running into in the last few days. EXT. PARK – DAY This location we only have Alex and her friend, this is a carry on from the last location, Alex starts have a flashback to when she tills bumps into the man they just saw in the alleyway, speeding down towards them. She seems to be freaked out because she has only just found out that, the man they just saw in the alleyway, is the same man, she has been seeing in the last few days, here the main character, Alex keeps having flashbacks to the other times when she has bumps into him. And when she starts having her flashbacks, we are going to do a close up into her eyes, and then we are going to fade back to the scenes in which she has bumped into the man before, in the other locations (woods pathway, local shops and also the alleyway.) after she has the flashbacks, the
- 2. scenes of the mans are going to fade back into her eyes, and then from her eyes, we are going to zoom back away from her eyes into a wide shot of the girls sat down on the grass, doing their work. EXT. PARK/ALLEYWAY- afternoon/dark So after a long days of working in the park, it is getting dark, and they starts packing up their work, and start making their way back home. They are making their way into the alleyway, and then we are going to see them entering the alleyway, and as they are walking down the alleyway, we see that man also entering the alleyway. Alex hears the footsteps following her, they are getting faster and faster, Alex grabs onto he friend, and drags her to go faster, and then has they get to the end of the alleyway, the man reaches out and just touches the girl’s shoulder, and then they run off towards their house. EXT. OUTSIDE OF HOUSE- night The two girls are reaching the house, Alex is sacred/shocked at what just happened, and then are they are trying to get into the house, and we see the man standing outside on the side of the road. The man: “Oh hey there, erm I just moved on to the street, erm I been trying to say hello for the last few days, EXand I just never had to opportunity to say anything.” Then we are going to have a close up of Alex’s face, reacting to what the man has just said, and so having a reaction shot.
