Jordan: Hello we are Echo productions advertising our new product, Zypher, a
sugar free gum that “can makeany bad day a good one” the advert we have
produced is only exclusive to cinemas. However we will be making a shorter
advertfor TV.
Matt: To help us come up with an idea of whatwe wanted to advertise we
started digging through different companies that were producing similar
products. Westarted off with going through the different companies such as 5
gum and Wrigley’s extra and started off with looking at the colours of the
productthat wereused, and work out whatspecific audience would match
that. Next we started looking at the adverts for that productand took notes on
what kind of gum they wereaiming for (being it sweetor sour for example)
and whatmessagethey were trying to send.
Jordan: We chose the name ‘Zypher’ becausewe thought that it was a very
exciting name and that it was original so everyone knows thatthey haven’t
heard of it making them intrigued to buy it. Also, the name alone really does
have strong meaning and as I said it is an unknown nameto any productthat is
being produced. Our slogan is “Can make any bad day a good one” and is trying
to illustrate that when you have had a bad day you obviously wantit to be
good fromthat moment on, and whatwe are trying to say is that our gum can
producethat day.
Will: The target audience we are looking for are teenagers and young adults as
they are at the age we think is appropriatefor this particular product, weare
not saying this is a productfor anybody else we are justaiming for that age
group. The reason why we havegone for that age group is because we think
that teenagers will be more likely to buy the productas they are the age group
we think would go into the local corner shop and are more likely to come
across it.
Matt: Here are someof the printads that we will be planning to show in places
such as magazines, websites and public transport.
