QUICK FACTS – SKILL INDIA
Most of the trained participants are not getting the desired job and one who got placed
is not getting the desired salary
Entrepreneurship is invisible in Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship
Only 3000-4000 organizations are affiliated till date to implement the mission, out of
them the percentage of NGOs and small organizations are hardly 10%.
Mobilization of candidates and placement emerged as biggest and toughest challenge
for skilling industry which is evident in all the schemes.
There are many reasons behind, but the main reason is that Government failed to
integrate entrepreneurship with skilling; hence placement became a huge challenge.
Lack of skilled manpower to skill the community itself is a big challenge.
KEY POINTS WE COVERED
There are only two ways to generate livelihood, i.e. employment or entrepreneurship,
hence we developed Comprehensive and integrated model combining both
employment and entrepreneurship
There are also only two ways to sustain a training centre, either you can run programs
on paid model or you can have Government aided projects;
But what if a training centre doesn’t have Governmental projects, or what if a training
centre is not able to attract participants on paid model?
At the same time this is also happening that a financially sound candidate avails
Governmental aide and a marginalized candidate gets ignored.
KEY POINTS WE COVERED
Again this is necessary for any training centre to integrate both paid and funded project
in their daily activities to sustain and grow.
Understanding the need SDC through its project SEED introduced integrated fee model.
Most of the grassroots organizations are even not aware with skill development
ecosystem and its requirements. Hence we integrated awareness and training programs
specifically designed for training partners.
Big players are also having issues with franchise development, mobilization,
placements, HR requirements and so on, so this pool of TPs under effective leadership
will ensure the desired result.
CONCEPT IN BRIEF
SDC is in the process of establishing a network of Category A, Category B and Category
C training centers in rural, semi urban and urban areas as per the NSDC standard with a
common brand name of SEED – School of entrepreneurship and employability
development.
The training partners will be implementing both paid and funded programs for both
skilling and entrepreneurship with the help of SDC.
CONCEPT IN BRIEF
SDC will be facilitating the stakeholders and will
coordinate with them. At the one end SDC will
ensure that the project is being executed properly by
Training Partners and at the same time it will also
facilitate the TPs with its services.
Being the central hub of SEED, SDC will take all
partner organizations to 20 ministries, Departments,
NSDC for direct projects without any consultation fee
(Partners will be required to make official payment
and processing fee of INR 5000/- as application and
follow-up expense) – Provided the partners have
eligibility and required documents and can fulfill the
requirement.
WORKING FORMAT
To make the process more
transparent and accountable our
entire working mechanism is based
on transparent online platform,
which will provide the franchise an
opportunity to access all the
relevant information and stay
connected with each other on
finger tips.
SDC
PROJECT
PARTNER
SEED
TRAINING
PARTNER
ROLE OF SDC
SDC will be providing their guidance to the
franchise and will also support the SEED - TPs
to achieve their target. SDC will be also
monitoring the growth, issues and challenges
and will be facilitating SEED - TPs by sharing
their expertise and resources.
Providing backend support, promotional
materials, managing certification and
assessment, promotional campaigns, and
providing hand holding support to SEED - TPs
etc. will be the key role of SDC.
ROLE OF STATE OFFICE
SEED - SO is the main organ of organizational
structure responsible to carryout day to day activity
and also to ensure growth and smooth functionality
of SEED - TPs. The SEED - SO will be facilitating the
SEED - TPs with information sharing on project
opportunities, submission of projects and they will
also ensure the way out if there is any hurdle in
smooth functionality in coordination with SDC – HO.
Providing backend support, promotional materials,
managing certification and assessment, promotional
campaigns, and providing hand holding support to
SEED - TPs etc. will be the key role of SEED - SO. In
fact SEED – SO will be working like a state authority
for SEED.
ROLE OF TRAINING PARTNER
The prime responsibility of Training
Partners will be to ensure proper
mobilization, counseling, enrollments,
training delivery and placement of
beneficiaries. At the same time SEED –
TPs will be also providing hand holding
assistance to budding entrepreneurs,
whether its project proposal
development or bank loan facilitation.
The TPs will be the backbone of concept
as the end result will be highly
dependent on their performance.
WORKING FORMAT
HEADQUARTER
STATE OFFICE
TRAINING PARTNER
BENEFITS TO TRAINING PARTNER
Every organization or company needs to be perfect and well equipped at
operational level and certainly they all need financial growth. Whether it’s a
charitable organization or a company, we believe that every organization do have
the right to grow and earn well. Our comprehensive plan ensures your growth at
both operational level and financial level.
SDC will assist the training partners in getting training partnership with NSDC and
thus accreditation of their centers with NSDC without any additional fee (Except
official fee).
SDC will assist the training partners in assessment of beneficiaries through Govt.,
NSDC, SSC, NIESBUD affiliated authorized assessment agency without any
additional fee (Except official fee).
BENEFITS TO TRAINING PARTNER
SDC will provide training partners with soft copy of NOS aligned courses (as per
selected job role), session plan, trainer manual, digital aide etc. to conduct the training
sessions.
SDC will deliver staff training to its training partners once in a year and after that,
partners may call SDC experts for training at their own costing at pro-rata basis.
Throughout the year SDC will provide hand holding support to all Training Partners in
mobilization, training delivery, placement and will help them to address other issues
on daily basis 24X7.
SDC will provide training partners with high end technological platform (MIS/Web
tools/Mobile App) through which you can manage your operations and can also access
the relevant documents, guidelines, videos, tutorials etc.
BENEFITS TO TRAINING PARTNER
You will have the opportunity to become a Training Partner and the Project Partner at
the same time. Means you can execute the project, but if with the help of SDC you will
get a project, you may also share the same with other partners of SEED.
SDC will provide training partners with modules and Govt., NSDC, SSC, NIESBUD
assessment linked courses based on FEE model.
BENEFITS TO TRAINING PARTNER
SDC will be charging annual franchise fee and just 20% of total business generated
from this venture. Out of which SDC will be extending 10% of total business with State
Office, while keeping with it 10%.
SDS partners will have both paid and funded projects, employability and
entrepreneurship courses, which will certainly provide you with best possible
sustainability.
Your candidates/participants/students will have both the option of employability and
entrepreneurship and in both the models they will be getting assured hand holding
support, which will attract more and more beneficiaries.
BENEFITS TO STATE OFFICE
To manage the SEED centers effectively and providing them with handholding support
SDC will be establishing SEED State offices throughout the country and
institutional/skilling/training entrepreneurs may take a franchise of SEED (State Office)
SDC will be sharing a large part of income with its state office. SDC in the capacity of
Head Office will be charging 20% of gross income from the projects extended with the
help of SDC with the SEED franchise partner and will be sharing 10% with State Office.
For example let’s assume that one SDC franchise center earned 100, he will be sharing
20 with SDC and SDC will be sharing 10 with state office and keeping 10 with it.
BENEFITS TO STATE OFFICE
State office may also initiate training partnership and can get benefitted from its own
training centers.
If the state office is running its organization and is interested in getting funded projects
from Govt. and is also eligible for that, SDC will take all State Office organizations to 20
ministries/Departments/NSDC for direct projects without any consultation fee (SOs
will be required to make official payment and just INR 5000/- as follow-up expense) –
Provided the SOs have eligibility and required documents. SDC apart from follow-up
