Montana State University

Calit2 is one of four institutes in California funded by the state to develop and apply advanced technologies. It has campuses at UCSD and UCI, with over 300 faculty members across 24 departments who have received $330 million in federal grants. One of Calit2's goals is to transform how emergency responders address crises through its $12.5 million RESCUE project awarded by the National Science Foundation in 2003.
