- 1. How does your media product represent particular social groups? This image reflects a modern representation of women as the image makes the women look very in control and dominant. On the other hand this image could be viewed as a traditional representation as women could be looked upon as sex object and women need to look good to appeal to men. The genre of my magazine is R&B. My target audience is women and my secondary audience is men this is suggested by the cover image.

My target audience is women I think this is portrayed as the image on my contents page is very girly and feminine this contrasts with my front cover as the image looks very seductive and strong.

The genre of my magazine is R&B. My target audience is women I think this is portrayed as the image on my contents page is very girly and feminine this contrasts with my front cover as the image looks very seductive and strong but is very similar to the contents page as not all R&B female artists dress as the front cover of my magazine portrays.
