Anything that we consume as an audience

2. Photograph
3. Infographics
4. Audio
5. Video
(Eg. Social media posts (FB/LinkedIn/Twitter/Instagram/TikTok, YouTube videos, blogs, anything)
Content writing
1. website writing
2. Landing pages
3. Social media marketing
4. Blog/article writing
What is a good/better content
The content that:
1. Is engaging and feels relatable
2. Sparks conversation
3. Gives knowledge and information
4. Inspires your audience
5. Can persuade people to buy your product/services
Before writing and publishing, ask
yourself:
1. What type of content am I writing?
2. Why am I writing this?
3. How can I write differently if somebody has already written on this topic?
Plan before writing
1. Know the purpose of writing the content
[Voicing out your thought? Marketing a product? Telling story of your customer?]
2. Decide possible platforms to publish it.
[Personal wall? Social media group? Quora? Medium? Guest article in a blog/news portal?]
3. Do proper research about the topic
4. Decide the keywords you will be using (must for digital marketers)
5. Know your audience
6. Create an outline of your content.
[It helps you to put all your thoughts and ideas in an organized way. And, leads to better structure of your content.]
Note: Don’t try to write final article in the first attempt.
Some tips on writing
1. Make it easy to consume.
Write in a simple language in a conversational tone
2. Write to express, not to impress
3. Make your content meaningful and engaging
4. Make it enjoyable and inspiring
5. Make your audience feel related

While writing
1. Write in a conversational tone. Maintain flow.
2. Write shorter sentences and paragraphs
3. Write to express, not to impress
4. Don’t try to be perfectionist. Avoid procrastination.
5. Give in-depth, 360° information.

6. Avoid unnecessary descriptions. People might lose interest if the article is unnecessarily

After writing - I
1. Re-write & edit. Add examples and contexts to make audience relate to the content.
2. Run the content through Grammarly
3. Share the draft to people with knowledge in the topic
4. Share to a friend who can suggest for changes
5. Let it to rest for a few hours before publishing
After writing - II
1. Try to create/use infographics. People will
remember infographics more than texts.

While publishing - I
1. Write a headline that would spark interest.
This story I wrote in 2017 had a emotional touch, and gave a strong message
to youngsters. After a few minutes of publishing, the website crashed
because of the heavy traffic.

1. Use Sub-headings. Make your content more readable.
2. Use catchy and interesting thumbnail (cover photograph).
3. Use quotes, and give sources of your information to make the content look credible.

4. Optimize the content. Use SEO techniques and review your keywords.
5. Embed social media posts/videos if it adds value.
6. Write a few lines that people would ‘feel’ and write as a caption while sharing in social
media.
7. Check facts again before you hit publish.
After publishing
1. Share in social media platforms with relevant captions.
2. Try to spark a conversation through your post.
Improvements
1. Be open for feedback, and positive criticisms.
2. Read a lot (books, Medium, Quora, etc.)
3. Join Reddit group on writing. Discuss with members.
4. Share your writing in FB groups and ask for suggestions.
5. Learn and improve continuously
6. Focus on quality instead of quantity
