- 4. • • • • Workspaces are where you and your team create, collaborate on, and manage presentations. Your sidebar includes multiple sections. Let's start at the top. Your team: Click on the name of your team in the top left to access your settings and access other workspaces. Recents: View the presentations your team recently edited, or that you recently opened. Switch the view with the toggle! Manage library: Give your team the assets they need to stay on-brand, from custom fonts, to templates, and media files. - 5. • • • Create and save presentations into folders, so your team can easily find the decks they need. Team folders: Structure your team's folders around topics, projects, or teams for other workspace members to find. Shared with me: Access private presentations or folders shared by other members. - 7. 1. 2. 3. You have a few options to create your first template, accessible from the Recents tab in Pitch: Click on Start new presentation. From there you can Start from blank to bring up an empty slide, or you can select from 100+ expert-made templates to save time. Start with AI: Click this button for the AI generator, where you can enter a prompt to create a set of relevant slides. Import presentation and upload a PowerPoint file that you've exported from your previous tool, to pick up where you left off. Start from scratch or expand on an existing template
- 8. The AI generator makes it easy to create the first draft of a presentation, or the beginnings of your new template. Click Start with AI and enter a relevant prompt, choose an initial color palette and font, then hit Start editing to customize your draft further. - 9. Pitch includes over 100 templates made by designers, including pitch decks, sales proposals, reports, and creative briefs. After clicking Start new presentation you can browse the categories to find a template that works for you. - 10. What makes Pitch templates special? 1. 2. We've built our templates to be beautifully flexible — they're meant to be remade, remixed, and restyled. Pitch templates are made up of two parts: Slide layouts: The layout refers to blocks on a slide — like text, image, and shape blocks — and how they're positioned. Slide styles: Styles are like design guidelines for your slides. They set the rules for default fonts and colors. Whenever you apply a style, you're setting the visual rules for that slide. By creating your own style, you can easily make our templates your own.
- 11. Create a new slide style • • • Custom slide styles keep your decks polished and on-brand. You can set your brand colors and upload custom fonts to make sure everyone in your workspace can create consistently beautiful presentations. We recommend creating two styles to start — a light and a dark version of your core brand elements — but you can create as many as you like. - 12. Once you've created a deck with a custom slide style, you can save it as a template so it's easy for the rest of your team to work with it. You can save as many templates as you like, so if you work on any sort of recurring presentation — like a sales deck or company update — saving a template will save you time. - 14. Invite workspace members 1. 2. 3. 4. Pitch is better with others. Invite your team so you can start creating beautiful presentations together. Here's how to invite your team: Click on your team name from your dashboard and select Members. Enter your teammate's email address (note that only owners and admins can invite new workspace members). Choose their role, like Admin or Creator. Select Invite member.

If you want to collaborate with someone, but don't want them to have access to your workspace, you can invite them to work with you on individual presentations. Here's how: Open a presentation and click Share at the top of the editor. Enter their email into the input field. Choose their access level. Can view means they can view slides, but cannot edit the presentation. Can comment means they can add comments and update slide statuses and assignments. Can edit means they can edit content, add and respond to comments, and invite other guests. Click Invite. Current guests will have a badge next to their email, so you can easily differentiate them from workspace members.
- 16. Improve your workflow • • • • Here are just a few ways you can collaborate in Pitch: Set a slide status: Show which slides need work, are in progress, or are ready to present. Assign a slide: Choose who's responsible for a slide and assign it to them. They'll get a notification letting them know. Leave a comment: Add and respond to comments to discuss feedback. Store speaker notes: Add important information that others can use when delivering a presentation.
- 17. Manage notifications Learn more about managing notifications ⟶ 1. 2. 3. Notifications help you stay on top of what's happening in your workspace. Pitch delivers notifications in three ways. In-app notifications: The badge on top of the bell icon appears when someones assigns a slide to you, mentions you in a comment, or replies to a comment. If you subscribe to a specific presentation, you'll be notified about all new comments and slides marked as Done. Email notifications: In addition to receiving an email for the notifications mentioned above, you'll also get a daily digest that highlights comments added to presentations in your workspace. Slack notifications: Set this up with our Pitch app for Slack integration, to get notified where you work.
