Setting Up a Student Account in Moodle Lamar 2.0

First make sure you have a PS Connect account

If you already have a PS Connect account, (and remember your info) you can go to the next step.

Sign in with your HISD PS Connect username and password Once you have your PS Connect Account, go to Lamar's Moodle: The website is http://moodle.houstonisd.org/lamarhs

The first time you log in, you will be asked to fill out some information, including your email address, and your city. Note that your name has already been imported from your HISD account.

Click Continue, and Moodle will send you a confirmation email.

Go to your email account that you gave Moodle, and find the Confirmation notice. Click on the link provided. If it's not in your inbox, check your spam folder.

Make sure you read the site policy before you actually agree to it.

Enrolling in a Course on Moodle Lamar 2.0

First, you need to find the course in which you're going to enroll. You may need to start by picking the department that it's in.

Once you find the right course, click on the link to that course.

This is where you enter the Enrollment key that your teacher gave your class.

There's also a secret website that not too many people know about You can access My Moodle by adding '/my' to the end: http://moodle.houstonisd.org/lamarhs/my

With My Moodle ( http://moodle.houstonisd.org/lamarhs/my ), you can add some features, like a block for Upcoming Events to remind you of what's coming up in some of your class
