• #7: I adopted Madison from the Montgomery County SPCA, when I had brought her home she was very tiny.
• #8: Sophie was so sick that when i brought her home i could not leave her side, i was told that she was going to die. Being diagnosed with feline pneumonia, she was very dehydrated and always had her mouth open to breath, i must have taken her to the vet over 5 times in 2 weeks, and each time they simply told me i just had to ride it out and hope for the best.
• #10: to pay little or no attention to, this dog has clearly been neglected, his ribs are beginning to show and the basic environment is not suitable for him to be living in.

• #16: (1.) Find out which agency is responsible for investigating and enforcing anti-cruelty laws in your state, county, or town. (2.) If an animal is in a life-threatening situation, call authorities immediately. (3.) Prepare a short written statement detailing the key points of what you observed. Give dates, approximate times, and locations. (4.) Always keep a dated record of everyone you've contacted, along with the content and outcome of your discussions.
• #17: 1. To own a dog three (3) months of age or older without a current vaccination against rabies administered by a licensed veterinarian. 2. To allow your dog to run at large. All dogs must be under control. Owners are responsible for all damages caused by their dog(s). 3. To mistreat or abuse any animal. Report violations to your local humane organization or police. 4. To place any poison or harmful substance in any place (grass), on your own property or elsewhere, where it may be easily found and eaten by dogs. 5. To abandon or attempt to abandon any dog. Fines for abandonment range from $300 to $1,000 plus court costs. 6. To barter, trade, sell or transfer any dog under seven weeks old. 7. To operate a kennel that keeps, harbors, boards, shelters, sells, gives away or transfers a total of 26 or more dogs in any one calendar year without a current kennel license.
• #18: Counseling is recommended for individuals who have committed any type of animal abuse. Fines up to $1000 Imprisonment up to 2 years
• #24: This past September Sticky the cat became a media sensation after being found body-wrapped in duct tape in the North Philadelphia area, officers gave opportunities for the owners to come forth and take ownership but no one followed through. More then 100 adoption request came in and she now has a new loving family.
• #26: - The montgomery county spca only takes donations, this includes money, food and blankets. - They specialize in cats and dogs but they will except rabbits and guinea pigs - They allow you to adopt, will take an unwanted pet, and also but an animal to rest if necessary. - If you see an animal being abused or mistreated, call the Montgomery County S.P.C.A. they will investigate.
• #28: - they only except donations - at the kitty cottage they only specialize in taking in and allowing open adoptions to cats. - they are very strict when it comes to the adoption process, they really want to make sure that you will be a good owner for this animal -
