This document discusses the application of wavelet transforms and Hilbert-Huang Transform (HHT) in processing radar echoes from atmospheric signals for improved spectrum cleaning and parameter estimation. It highlights the advantages of these methods over traditional Fourier transforms, particularly in handling non-stationary and nonlinear signals. Through experimental data analysis from the mesosphere-stratosphere-troposphere region, the study demonstrates enhanced signal-to-noise ratio and signal characteristics, thereby validating the proposed algorithm's effectiveness.
