- 2. Let’s welcome Leonard Big to Silver Bend! Or BigLenny over on Boolprop. Lenny is completing the Name Game challenge. So I used the longer version of his name to abuse myself with babies. Lenny also almost broke my game. Silver Bend really didn’t want him. He got corrupted several times and I had to reinstall and bring Silver Bend up from a back up. So most of Week 7 had to be replayed. I almost gave up, but nonetheless Silver Bend presses on.
- 3. Lenny spent most of his handout on his house, he was going to have at least seven kids so he would need a big house.
- 4. It was just a shell for now. But it had potential.
- 5. After he was done, it dawned on him that he needed a bed, a fridge and some other things. But he was out of cash, so digging it was.
- 6. A few of his simself friends came to visit. He was a little surprised Pony wasn’t part of the welcome wagon. Since she had dragged him out here.
- 7. Time flew by and it was soon night fall. He whipped up a quick, but hardy meal of mac and cheese.
- 8. He had gotten a job in the architecture career. It wasn’t his first pick. His LTW was to be a Mad Scientist. But he needed the funds.
- 9. His first day didn’t go so well. A bad chance card got him fired.
- 10. Lenny spent the afternoon making friends on the phone. He should get started on a spouse hunt.
- 11. He decided there was no time like the present. So he checked out one of Silver Bend’s parks. And met some of his neighborhood. “Does every lot have a place to fish?” He asked Clarence. “All the parks do at least.” He nodded.
- 12. His day wasn’t going to get any easier once he was home.
- 13. His stove didn’t survive, but he was unharmed.
- 14. The next morning he was determined to have a better day. He got a new job in the Education career. Still not his first pick, but better.
- 15. After work he invited Gretchen Chin over. He had met her a few days before. They had hit it off.
- 16. It didn’t take long to convince her to move in.
- 17. Gretchen was wide awake, but Lenny collapsed into bed exhausted.
- 18. Gretchen flipped in the paper for a job. She wanted to be a chief of staff in the medical field. But there wasn’t an opening. She settled for a business career position as a mailroom tech.
- 19. Lenny’s new stove wasn’t any better than his old one. Gretchen tried and failed to make a pop tart. Fortunately, she wasn’t harmed.
- 20. Lenny came home with a promotion to substitute teacher.
- 21. “You’re home.” Gretchen caught him in the entryway hoping he wouldn’t notice the smell of smoke in the kitchen.
- 22. “Gretchen, I’ve been meaning to ask you this. I know it’s quick, but life is short. Will you marry me?” “Yes!” She smiled.
- 23. In true challenge fashion, they got hitched right then and there.
- 24. And of course, they got started on children right away.
- 25. “Wake up Lenny.” Gretchen yawned. “You said you wanted to buy a community lot today.” “Right.” Lenny yawned back.
- 26. “What should we name it?” Gretchen mused. “Pracitical Perfection, we’ll sell skill building objects.” “That’s a perfect idea.” She agreed.
- 27. They had been saving all of their wages and Gretchen’s move in money to build a small shop. “We needed a place like this!” Bulbasaur Guevara gushed.
- 28. It didn’t take long for Practical Perfection to make its first sale.
- 29. It only took a few more hours to reach Rank 1. Gretchen wasn’t feeling well so they decided to call it a day.
- 30. Back home, Lenny whipped up an easy breakfast before Gretchen had to go to work.
- 31. Lenny met Jihoon Starr walking by as Gretchen raced to her carpool. “So are you a simself too?” Jihoon asked. “Yes, I’m BigLenny, or Lenny.” “Nice to meet you!”
- 32. Gretchen needed to work on her skills for work. She didn’t want to stay in the corporate playing field, but she might as well work hard while she was there.
- 33. There wasn’t much to do around the house. Lenny splurged and bought an easel. What was a challenge without painted portraits.
- 34. The reason Gretchen had been feeling poorly was soon revealed. Baby L was on its way.
- 35. “Are you sure you don’t want be to go with you?” Gretchen asked. “I can manage a small business for a few hours. You get some rest.”
- 36. “Congratulations, Leonard! I’m writing a review and Practical Perfection is the hottest new business in Silver Bend. I’m giving you the Best of the Best award!” Amaya grinned. “Thanks!”
- 37. His painting was coming along nicely. But he was a long way to go from painting portraits.
- 38. “Oh for Boolprop’s sake!”

- 42. So the storytelling and pictures in this chapter are terrible and I deeply deeply apologize. I was so frustrated by the time I was able to finally play Lenny I rushed through his week. Then all the pictures I had were jumbled up between crashes and replaying the rotation. It was all very tiring. But that’s behind us now and hopefully he’ll have a better second week. Also apparently the Bigs can’t cook without setting the stove on fire. Good things it’s a BACC. Oh and you may see some funky changes to the scorecard the next few chapters. It’s currently a little messy and inaccurate, so I’m reviewing Silver Bend and cleaning it up. Complete surprised I was able to write down all Silver Bendians from memory to check the population count. Except Libra Starr, poor Libra. But one out of a hundred and six is not bad.
