In fact, I’ve been a Graphic Designer since before I even knew the term existed - sitting in my bedroom at the age of 12 meticulously copying the cells from my 2000AD comics... My first Graphic Design role was actually an apprenticeship (back in the days of drawing boards, galley type, Letraset and repro cameras) where I learnt the craft. Subsequent roles over the years in a variety of design studios - whether as the sole designer, just one part of a collaborative team or leading that team - have allowed me to develop and hone those skills. These roles have seen me responsible for the creation and development of major branding projects as well as being responsible for overseeing the design, creation and production of artwork created by others, including liaison with clients and service providers. Although a primarily print-oriented designer I do have experience in HTML email, web, UI and app design, along with a basic working knowledge of HTML and CSS. I can also bring with me excellent technical and freehand illustration skills, studio photography and art direction experience along with a meticulous attention to detail. I also have plenty of experience of not just designing, but of copy and headline writing too - as well as advertising and body copy I have provided previous clients with everything from straplines to entire websites, and from proof-reading services to guidelines on what kind of language to use when connecting with their customers online. I have a passion for design in all forms, in particular typography, colour and print and packaging techniques, and along with good illustration, image manipulation and layout skills, the ability to consistently design for a wide range of marketing collateral within and without brand guidelines, a good working knowledge of the possibilities and limitations of print, and, as the person ultimately responsible for the delivery of on-brief, on-brand and (most importantly) on time final product, good organisational skills.   • 3. In fact, I’ve been a Graphic Designer since before I even knew the term existed - sitting in my bedroom at the age of 12 meticulously copying the cells from my 2000AD comics... My first Graphic Design role was actually an apprenticeship (back in the days of drawing boards, galley type, Letraset and repro cameras) where I learnt the craft. Subsequent roles over the years in a variety of design studios - whether as the sole designer, just one part of a collaborative team or leading that team - have allowed me to develop and hone those skills. These roles have seen me responsible for the creation and development of major branding projects as well as being responsible for overseeing the design, creation and production of artwork created by others, including liaison with clients and service providers. Although a primarily print-oriented designer I do have experience in HTML email, web, UI and app design, along with a basic working knowledge of HTML and CSS. I can also bring with me excellent technical and freehand illustration skills, studio photography and art direction experience along with a meticulous attention to detail. I also have plenty of experience of not just designing, but of copy and headline writing too - as well as advertising and body copy I have provided previous clients with everything from straplines to entire websites, and from proof-reading services to guidelines on what kind of language to use when connecting with their customers online.
