- 3. About Sebastian • Sebastian Roth is born in Neustadt an der Weinstraße. • Has studied media design (Video) at Lazi Akademie. • Proffessionally a camera man and a photographer. • He loves to travel. • Currently living in Berlin, Germany. © Claudia Kaubi 2012

- 5. Before SWS • His friends from Pet Shop Boys persuaded him to try the music career. • Firstly he was in a duo called Two And A Dog. • Later in another duo named Just Married. • As they gave frustrating experiences for Sebastian, he decided to end them up and start his solo career. © Claudia Kaubi 2012

Solo • After finishing media design studies he moved to England. • He took a job in a small theatre in West End and made music when time permitted. • In one of professional recording studios in England he recorded several songs. • Among them - „Shut Up (And Sleep With Me)“ • SWS gets signed by Sing Sing record label. © Claudia Kaubi 2012
- 7. „Shut Up (And Sleep With Me)“ • The single (and the following album) was co- produced by Sebastian Roth and Inga Humpe. • It took 3 years before this track went to the charts, but when it did... © Claudia Kaubi 2012

- 9. Album „Golden Boy“ • The debut album was recorded and mixed in German Boogie Park studio. • Album was released in the end of 1995. • The album contains 12 tracks, among them are „Shut Up“ and „Golden Boy“. • Nominated for Echo Award as Best Dance Act. • Places nr 3 in Finland and nr 4 in Poland. © Claudia Kaubi 2012

- 11. After the album... • In 1997 SWS released a duet with Marianne Rosenberg „He Belongs To Me“ in Mexico. • The single hits #1 in Mexico. • This was followed by two extended promotion tours. • In 1998 SWS leaves Sing Sing, followed by an artistic break containing travelling and making music in various styles. © Claudia Kaubi 2012

- 13. New Start (behind the scenes) • In 2005 Sebastian teames up with guitarist Tom Steinbrecher. • Tom loved previous SWS tracks and wanted Sebastian to continue it. • They created a new sound and a new approach to songwriting to revive SWS. • In 2006 SWS launched an independent record label „Lipstick Confusion Records“. © Claudia Kaubi 2012

- 21. „Wake Up (Be Good To Me)“ • Released in 2011 as Dolly Buster vs. Sin With Sebastian. • Dolly wanted to make a continuing story from „Shut Up“. • The track is the morning after „Shut Up“- night. © Claudia Kaubi 2012
