 The document discusses techniques for single-sourcing applications to work with both the Rich Application Platform (RAP) and Rich Client Platform (RCP).  RAP allows around 70-90% code reuse from existing RCP applications but has some API limitations as it runs in a multi-user environment compared to RCP.  Topics covered include setting up projects to target both RAP and RCP, differences in APIs between the two platforms, and challenges in dependencies due to different UI libraries used by each.
