Singular expression of quantity: One, Each, Every One, each, and every are followed by  singular count nouns . Each new day  is different.( correct) One student  was late to class.( correct) Every student  has a schedule.( correct) Each / every  /  one   students  are here. ( incorrect) ------>  students are plural noun.
Each  is used to talk about two or more things.  Every  is used to talk about three or more things. They are both used with singular nouns.  Example: Each/every boy  in the class passed the test. ( There are  more than three  students in the class) He was carrying a suitcase in  each hand . (NOT … every hand.)
Each and every Each refers to  everyone  of a group taken  separately or individually . It expresses  the idea of  'one by one '. It emphasizes  individuality   Ex: The President gave  each soldier  a medal. Each book  on that shelf belongs to my grandfather  Every   refers to  all or each one  of a group without exception. It sees things or people as singular, but in a group or in general.  Ex: I have read  every book  on that shelf.  Every boy  in the class passed the test.  Note: Sometimes,  each  and  every  have the same meaning: Prices go up  each  year.  Prices go up  every  year.
One of, each of, every one of We use one of, each of, every one of  before a pronoun or a noun with a  determine r (the, this, my, your). Note that we use object pronouns (them, us etc.) after each of. The noun or pronoun is plural. Example: They gave  each of  their  four sons  a watch. One of   those cars  needs repairing. Every one of  the students  has a schedule. Note:  The verb after each of is usually singular, but it can be plural  in an informal style . Example: Each of us has problems. (More formal)  Each of us have problems. (More informal)

( There are more than three students in the class) He was carrying a suitcase in each hand . (NOT … every hand.)
