planning and execution; disposition of
discontinued product.
Inventory management
/ order management
Order cycle; ordering parameters (min/max, order-
up-to-level, counter and committed stock); impact
of case pack size on orders; product allocation.
Familiar with ERP systems (INFOREM, CAR);
ordering logic and parameters such as lead time,
review time and safety stock.
Vendor management Trained and led vendor teams consisting of 25 to
100+ suppliers across multiple SKU categories;
responsible for in stock, turn, fill rate and
inventory levels as well as forecast accuracy.
Able to develop positive relationships with key
players and to help them set goals and milestones
for continuous improvement. Use of tracking
tools to maintain accountability.
Training & facilitating Trained 450+ users in effective use of Wal Mart's
forecasting and ordering systems; also trained
users in Home Depot's CAR application.
Able to design and teach users navigation and
use of complex replenishment & forecasting
systems for high volume retail order
management.
Relationship building Worked closely with management and merchants
in planning and executing merchandising plans
for large volume retailers; open to buy and KPI
tracking; event planning and assortment analysis.
Comfortable working with all levels of leadership
and providing accurate and concise data that can
be used for decision-making.
Organization Organized and detail-oriented; comfortable
handling multiple priorities.
Flexible and willing to work under constantly
changing conditions.
Creative & resourceful Used creative methods for stratifying business
