transgression against) Allah (TAQWA), He [always]

and for everyone who places his trust in Allah
(TAWAKKAL) He [alone] is enough. Verily, Allah always
attains to His purpose: [and] indeed, unto everything
has Allah appointed its [term and] measure.”

IN FOOD AND PROVISION We have been taught to recite:

 In thisIn this Du’aDu’a we invoke Allah’s blessings in whatever provisionwe invoke Allah’s blessings in whatever provision
which we are given. What these ‘blessings’ are we do not claimwhich we are given. What these ‘blessings’ are we do not claim
to know them all, but only Allah Who is all-knowing –to know them all, but only Allah Who is all-knowing –
Wa-Allaahu a’lamWa-Allaahu a’lam..

AMONGST THE WEAK & POOR We have been told by the Prophet ‫ﷺ‬ :

IN EVERY UNDERTAKINGS

Allah’s name, (the blessing is that) whatever harm are averted:Allah’s name, (the blessing is that) whatever harm are averted:
‘‘In the name of AllIn the name of Allaah, nothing (attached) with His name,h, nothing (attached) with His name,
is harmed (from whatever is) on earth or in the Heavens,is harmed (from whatever is) on earth or in the Heavens,
and He (Alland He (Allaah) is The All-Seeing, The All-Knowing.’h) is The All-Seeing, The All-Knowing.’

IN THE ‘SAHUR’ – PRE-DAWN MEAL
““Eat the sahur (pre-dawn meal), for there are
blessings (BARAKAH) in this meal.””

BEING TOGETHER IN JAMA’AH
““Eat together and do not eat separately, for
(AL-BARAKAH – MA-’AL - JAMA-’AH)

WALKING FOR PERFORMING PRAYER IN MOSQUES
““No man purifies himself, doing it well, then makes for one of those
mosques without Allah recording a blessing for him for every step he
takes raising him a degree for it, and effacing a sin from him for it.””

MERE PRESENCE OF THE RIGHTEOUS MUSLIM

MUST ACKNOWLEDGE

CLARIFICATION ON THE INTERPRETATION OF HADITH

 There are some who use this Hadith (and their ‘interpretation’ ofThere are some who use this Hadith (and their ‘interpretation’ of

 To accord Prophet MuhammadTo accord Prophet Muhammad ‫ﷺ‬ the highest respect, honour,the highest respect, honour,

ALLAH SWT. HIMSELF PRAISES PROPHET MUHAMMAD ‫ﷺ‬ :

standard of character (standard of character (KHULUQIN – ‘AZEEMKHULUQIN – ‘AZEEM).”).”

“O ye who believe! Raise not your voices above the
voice of the Prophet, nor speak aloud to him in talk,
as ye may speak aloud to one another, lest your
deeds become vain and ye perceive not.”

ALLAH SWT. LIKENS OBEDIENCE TO THE PROPHET
MUHAMMAD ‫ﷺ‬ IS OBEDIENCE TO HIMSELF :

““Those that lower their voice in the presence ofThose that lower their voice in the presence of
Allah's Messenger― their hearts has AllahAllah's Messenger― their hearts has Allah
tested for piety (tested for piety (LIT-TAQWALIT-TAQWA) : for them is) : for them is
Forgiveness and a great Reward.”Forgiveness and a great Reward.”

TRACES FROM THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD ‫ﷺ‬

““The Messenger of AllahThe Messenger of Allah ‫ﷺ‬ came to visit us at nooncame to visit us at noon
and was givenand was given water for wudhu’water for wudhu’ (ablution), and he made(ablution), and he made
wudhu’ , after which people collected the wudhu’ (water)wudhu’ , after which people collected the wudhu’ (water)

CONSIDER THIS QUR’ANIC VERSE

Tafsir Ibnu Katsir:
Ibn Jarir related that Ibn `Abbas said about this ayah –
BAQIYYAH – referring to, Moses' staff and the remnants of
the Tablets. This is the same Tafsir of Qatadah, As-Suddi , Ar-
Rabi` bin Anas and `Ikrimah, who added, "And also the
Torah.‘‘

 Yet, as we have learnt, the true cause ofYet, as we have learnt, the true cause of SHIRKSHIRK is in theis in the
ignorance and their flawed belief ofignorance and their flawed belief of TAUTAUHHEED AR-RUBUBIYYAHEED AR-RUBUBIYYAH
and TAUand TAUHHEED AL-ULUHIYYAHEED AL-ULUHIYYAH..

 UpholdingUpholding TAUTAUHHEEDEED does not mean one must deny thedoes not mean one must deny the
presence of and the validity in seeking of the bounteouspresence of and the validity in seeking of the bounteous
blessings (blessings (BARAKAHBARAKAH) of Allah.) of Allah.
 Just as what can be adduced by the evidence (from Al-Qur’an,Just as what can be adduced by the evidence (from Al-Qur’an,
As-Sunnah and opinions of pious predecessors) that, theAs-Sunnah and opinions of pious predecessors) that, the
blessings of Allah indeed are present in certain people, events,blessings of Allah indeed are present in certain people, events,

people ofpeople of TAUTAUHHEEDEED..

 What differentiate us from theWhat differentiate us from the MUSHRIKEENMUSHRIKEEN is theis the erroneous belieferroneous belief
((AQEEDAHAQEEDAH) they hold.) they hold.
 Many of them (Many of them (MUSHRIKEENMUSHRIKEEN) subscribe to) subscribe to HHULULULUL (divine in-dwelling)(divine in-dwelling)
and actually regard these things or the persons they venerate orand actually regard these things or the persons they venerate or
sought blessings from (sought blessings from (TABARRUKTABARRUK),), as possessing “divineas possessing “divine” aspect or” aspect or
attributes – thus a clearattributes – thus a clear SHIRKSHIRK (ascribing partners to Allah(ascribing partners to Allah).).

 Whereas Muslims withWhereas Muslims with TAUTAUHHEEDEED do not hold such belief.do not hold such belief.
Our concept of something regarded as “Our concept of something regarded as “sacredsacred”, totally”, totally
rejects all such suggestion of any Divinerejects all such suggestion of any Divine “in-dwelling”“in-dwelling” oror
“incarnation”“incarnation” oror “union”.“union”.
 Thus ‘Umar al-Khattab r.a. said to the black stoneThus ‘Umar al-Khattab r.a. said to the black stone
((HAJR-AL-ASWADHAJR-AL-ASWAD):): “You are but a stone which cannot“You are but a stone which cannot
benefit nor harm, but because I have seen the Prophet s.a.wbenefit nor harm, but because I have seen the Prophet s.a.w

WALAHUL-WALAHUL-HHAMD, WA-HUWA - ‘ALAAAMD, WA-HUWA - ‘ALAA

CAUSE FOR THE LOST OF HONOUR AND BLESSINGS.

“The buyer and the seller have the option to cancel or
to confirm the deal, as long as they have not parted or
till they part, and if they spoke the truth and told each
other the defects of the things, then blessings would be
in their deal, and if they hid something and told lies,
the blessing of the deal would be lost.“
