- 2. “2007 Cultural and Buddhism Study Program” When I first came to Canada, I participated in a youth group program in Burmese Temple and have received a certificate from “Mahadhammika Temple Burmese Buddhist Association of Ontario” for an outstanding award “2007 Cultural and Buddhism Study Program.” This shows that I am an enthusiastic person who likes to communicate with others and ready to be challenge. With my strong and dedicated skills, I was able to accomplish my goal as recognized by other people by showing great personality.
- 3. This picture represents me getting involved in high school activity. I have never played violin before I came to Canada. When I first took the music course, I was surprised by how much playing music can relax you when you are having a hard time. Being a student and getting involved in a concert like this has made me felt like I have become a different person. Playing music pieces in front of a large audience with my friends and classmates has been a wonderful experience that I have never experienced before. I was really nervous and excited the same time.
- 4. Agincourt Collegiate Institute Diploma These two pictures above has represent me graduating from A.C.I high school. This means that I have spend my last four years at this high school trying to learn new things each and every year. This also shows that I have overcome my challenges and I have finished what I have started. After graduation from high school, it means that I am ready to start my new life finding my career goals that suits me. I would really like to thank all my family, friends, teachers, guidance counselors who had helped me find my goals.
- 5. Stage Crew Council During second last year of my high school, I was involved in Stage Crew Council where we were in charge of testing microphone, fixing lighting during the event. This shows that I am able to communicate with my members and able to contribute in the school’s event. I was able to improve my communication skills with the teachers along with the members in my club. It was my goal to join at least 3 or 4 clubs in high school and I was able to accomplish that without any hesitation.
- 6. Good Life Fitness Toronto Marathon (5km) This was taken when I was running a 5km marathon with my friends from school for my female fitness class. The location was in downtown, Toronto Queen’s Park. The program that I participated in was “Good Life Fitness” where the money that was donated into that goes into a Charity Organization for children. This shows that I am willing to take part in any kinds of charity organization and willing to help anyone that are in needs. It was a fantastic experience that I have experience in my life by running in downtown, Toronto where there are a lot of people watching and cheering.
- 7. This business luncheon took place in Agincourt Collegiate Institute. As a class, we were competing against other three classes based on our unique class theme. While preparing, I was in charge of making an invitation for the students as well as the guests who were coming to this luncheon. This shows that I am able to take a lead as a team leader and discuss what we are going to do with other team members. Being a team leader is difficult at first because you need to be able to organize and help others as well as help yourself. The most important message that giving motivation to each other can help when working as a team. This project has took us almost 4 months to accomplished it starting from December to March. Almost all the students who took this Business Leadership class has to stay after school and work on this luncheon. Even though it was a lot of work, through the motivation of our class leader, we have won 1st place out of all the other four section. Therefore, in the end, I have learned that if you didn’t give up on your goal and keep on aiming , one day, you will reach your goal and all your hard work will be paid off. It was a wonderful experience that I have ever experience it in my life and I would definitely will participate in this kind of competition again.
